An individual may be required to upgrade their registration category to one with a higher fee e.g. a Coach may change to become a Competitor. They may also require to downgrade or simply change to another category.

Note: Refunds are not available if an individual downloads to a lower value category.

Examples of when this may occur include:

  • An individual may attend a Come and Try event and be registered in the free “Try Artistic Swimming” category. They will (hopefully) enjoy it SO much they sign up for a “NonCompetitive Athlete” course. To do this they must upgrade their registration category.
  • A volunteer registers in the “General” category and is then elected to join a Committee. They need to upgrade their registration category to “Associate”.
  • An individual attending a “Non-Competitive Athlete” class may wish to start competing. They need to upgrade their registration category to “Competitor”.
  • A Coach may decide to compete. They will need to upgrade their registration from “Accredited Coach” to “Competitor”.

Note: When Upgrading the payment made for previous registrations will be deducted from the fee of the category upgrading into e.g. if an individual paid $50 for a coaching category and then upgraded into a competitor category that cost $100 they would only be charged $50.

As the individual already exists in the registration system, they only need to change their category by:

  1. Navigate to the applicable registration portal:

Note: An individual can also navigate to this screen by selecting the applicable options from the ASAI, State Association or Club website. 

  1. Select member login from the top right hand corner of the screen
  1. Enter the username provided in the registration email and the applicable password and select LOG IN >

Note: If the password has been forgotten, select Forgot login details? and either the individual’s username or email address and press SUBMIT > to prompt an email with a temporary password to be sent to the email address specified.

  1. Details associated with the individual will be displayed including:
  • National Member ID;
  • First Date of Joining;
  • Date and Time of Last Login;
  • The registration category the individual belongs to;
  • The organisations the registration pertains to;
  • Any upcoming events registered for;
  • Any upcoming classes registered for; and
  • Any upcoming bookings.
  1. In the “Membership Status” box, select > UPGRADE

  2. Select the category to Upgrade to.

  3. Select NEXT STEP>.

  4. Details of the upgrade plus any information to be completed will be displayed. Complete any additional information requested

  5. Tick the “I confirm that I have read the above Terms in their entirety” in the Terms of Registration box.

  6. Tick the “I agree to the terms of Registration” box.

  7. Select CONFIRM UPGRADE>

  8. Select PAY NOW>

  9. The amount to be paid will be displayed.

  10. Enter the following details:

Use my details for billing address

Tick this is the address against the registration record are to be used as the Billing Address.

If not, enter the applicable billing address details.

Cardholder details

Enter the credit Card number, Name on Card, Card Expiry date and CVC.

 
  1. Select PAY NOW > - do not refresh the browser while the registration is processed.

Note: If a compulsory field has been flagged, this must be completed before continuing. Once the payment is processed a screen thanking you for your payment will be displayed. A receipt will be sent to the email address provided.

  1. Logout by selecting the logout button on the top right hand corner of the screen.
